Three day Etosha National Park

Spend a weekend in the famous Etosha National park with a Namvic guide. From picking you up at your accommodation in Windhoek to finding the animals in Etosha and cooking meals, we will take care of everything. Sit back and enjoy a safari in one of the best places in Africa to see rhinos and elephants.
Accommodation: Camping in the heart of Etosha National Park

Day 1:

Your guide will come to your guesthouse or hotel in Windhoek between 8 and 9am on Friday morning. From there you will travel to the eastern side of Etosha National Park where you will set up camp at Namutoni campsite. If time allows it then you will go for a late afternoon safari with your guide in the park before getting back to camp for a traditional braai dinner prepared by your guide.

Day 2:

Today you will spend a full day in Etosha on safari. Your guide will take you to all the best waterholes to see lions, rhinos and elephants. You will be sure to see many species of antelopes and other herbivores too, such as springbok, zebra, giraffe, wildebeest and impala. One of many stops will be at the Etosha pan lookout. The Etosha pan covers almost one quarter of the park and is rich in salt and minerals, giving it its white colour. From the lookout you can see the pan 360 degrees around you and it is like being on another planet. You will set up camp tonight at Halali. This is one of the best camps for wildlife watching at night due to its well-placed floodlit waterhole.

Day 3:

After breakfast this morning you will pack up the camp and spend the morning on safari heading towards Okaukuejo. There are some great waterholes in this area very popular with lions and elephants. You will stop for a picnic for lunch after having left the park and then make your way to Windhoek. If time allows it, you will stop at Okahandja to visit the craft market. You will arrive in Windhoek late afternoon and your guide will take you to your guesthouse or hotel.

This tour departs Windhoek every friday and returns on Sunday afternoon.

INFORMATION:
• For 2 people we use one of our double cab 4×4 vehicles and for groups of more than 3 people we use one of our safari vehicles.
• This is a limited participation tour and you will only be required to put up your tent, your guide will handle the rest.
• Collection time at your accommodation is between 8am and 9am.
• You will be back in windhoek late afternoon.
