Description

Lesotho is a mountain kingdom, known for its beauty, Sani Pass is one of the most beautiful places in Lesotho. At Sani Mountain top you can spend the night in the sky, often above cloud level. With an elevation of 9, 429 feet (2, 874 meters) above sea level.

Driving to Sani Pass you get to go through 5 districts Maseru being the starting point, then Berea, Leribe, Botha-Buthe then arrive in Mokhotlong.

In Leribe travelers will get to see liphofung caves, Menkhoaneng and Tshehlanyane National park. Menkhoneng is where King Moshoeshoe 1 was born back in 1700s. In Botha-Buthe we have mini desert with beautiful sand dunes.
The trip continues to Mokhotlong, where they will see afri-skii, where they can experience snow skiing(optional). On the way they will even see diamond mines. Then straight to SaniPass.

After this wonderful contrast of landscapes we will return to Maseru, with plenty of memories and amazing pictures so that you share with your loved ones.Overnight at SaniTop Lodge

ITINERARY

The suggested Itinerary is as follows:
Day 1 (9 hours)
•Depature from Maseru through Thaba-Bosiu to Kome Caves in Berea district.
•Then drive to Tshehlanyane national park in Leribe.
•Overnight at Madiba lodge

Day 2 (10 hours)
•From Tshehlanyane to Menkhoaneng.
•Liphofung caves
•A mini desert walk on sand dunes at ha Rampai.

Day 3 (5 hour + 4hr:30min drive back to Maseru)
•A hike or 4×4 drive around sanipass to the border.
Snow skiing at Afri skii mountain resort (optional).
•The tour ends in Maseru.
