Day 1: Welcome to Cape Town, South Africa!

Welcome to Cape Town Mother City, rich in heritage and culture with mesmerizing sightseeing, and a place where you arrive as strangers and leave as friends.

Upon your arrival at Cape Town International Airport, one of our friendly representatives will be waiting in the arrivals terminal to welcome you and transfer you to Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel in the Gardens, Cape Town. Arriving at Cape Cadogan, you will check-in at your accommodation and spend the rest of the day at your own leisure.

Your 3 nights stay at Cape Cadogan includes accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis, return airport transfers, two full day tours including Table Mountain, Robben Island, Constantia Winelands, Bo-Kaap, Boulders Penguins and Cape of Good Hope (Cape Point).

3-Nights at Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel, Cape Town

Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel is located in Gardens suburb just outside Cape Town city center, with close proximity to V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain, Camps Bay and all other major attractions, shopping centers, beaches and restaurants. Children older than 10 years are welcome at Cape Cadogan. There are 15 air-conditioned rooms each with an ensuite bathroom with facilities such as a swimming pool, fireplace, free wifi, satellite television, minibar in room, laundry service, restaurant which serves breakfast (included), lunch and dinner (excluded) and gym.

Day 2: Robben Island prison tour, Table Mountain & Bo-Kaap

Shortly after breakfast, you will be met by your private tour guide/driver in the hotel lobby at 9:00 am for your transfer to the Nelson Mandela Gateway to Robben Island where you will charter a ferry boat to Robben Island prison museum. Upon your arrival at Robben Island, you will be guided by a site guide on a group tour. On this tour, you will see the prison cell of Nelson Mandela, learn more about the island’s history and take the Long March to Freedom.

We recommend Cape Town Fish Market for lunch in the Waterfront, which is situated straight across from the Gateway to Nelson Mandela building. After lunch, you will travel to Table Mountain cableway station, where you will take the cable car to the top of the mountain and see Cape Town from a different dimension. Just before returning to your hotel, we will take a drive through the city center of Cape Town and stop for photos in the Bo-Kaap, where we will discover the significance of these colorful historical houses. Drop off will be at approximately 17:00pm.

Day 3: Cape of Good Hope, Penguins & Constantia Winelands

Soon after breakfast your personal tour guide/driver will meet you at 9:00 am in the hotel lobby for your full-day Cape Peninsula tour to Cape of Good Hope, Cape Point, Boulders Penguins colony and Constantia Winelands. From your hotel in Cape Town, we will take a drive along the Atlantic Seaboard between the Table Mountain National Park mountain range and the Atlantic ocean, with a stop at Maiden’s Cove for breathtaking photographic opportunities and views of the Twelve Apostles Mountain range and Camps Bay beach. From there we proceed to Hout Bay to take the 45-minutes Seal Island boat trip experience to view the Cape Fur Seals colony. Upon our arrival back at the harbor in Hout Bay, we continue to Chapman’s Peak, where we will stop for photos and marvel at the beauty of the Atlantic ocean. It is believed that Chapman’s Peak Drive is one of the most beautiful scenic drives in the world.

A stop at Cape Point Vineyard is next on our list and we will enjoy a wine tasting of 6 of the finest wines produced here. We recommend lunch here at the Cape Point Vineyard Restaurant overlooking beautiful landscapes of endless vineyards. After lunch, we proceed to the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point. It is often said that this is where the Two Oceans meet. However, this is where the Two Ocean currents meet: warm Agulhas current and the cold Benguela current. Our tour culminates with a stop at Boulder’s Penguins colony to admire the enchanting African penguin’s colony. You will be dropped off at your hotel at approximately 18:00 pm.

Day 4: Sabi Sand Game Reserve, Kruger National Park

This morning after breakfast and check-out you will be transferred to Cape Town International Airport for your flight (excluded) to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport. Upon your arrival at KMIA you will be welcomed and met by one of our representatives who will transfer you to Lion Sands Ivory Lodge in Sabi Sand Game Reserve for check-in and Afternoon Tea. Sabi Sands shares unfenced borders with Kruger National Park, affording you a greater Big 5 safari experience. After Tea, you will depart on your first safari activity which is the afternoon game drive, a 3-hour game drive conducted in an open 4×4 safari vehicle. On our game drives, you will see the Big 5 animals as well as the elusive leopard. Since Lions Sands is rooted in both the Sabi Sand Game Reserve and Kruger National Park, you will engage in exclusive traversing on both the Lion Sands Sabi Sand and Kruger Park sections. Enjoy a sundowner stop in a scenic spot to purely appreciate being in the bush. After the game drive, you will return to your accommodation to freshen up before dinner.

Your 4-night stay at Ivory Lodge in Lions Sands includes full board accommodation, all meals; teas/coffees; minibar in the room; inclusive drinks and selected snacks (all soft drinks, and selection of beers, spirits and house wines); two game drives daily with FGASA-accredited field guide and tracker; game drive refreshments and snacks; specified inclusive safari activities; Skukuza Airport transfers; Wi-Fi.

4-Nights at Ivory Lodge, Lion Sands, Sabi Sands, Kruger

Lion Sands Ivory Lodge is situated in the south of the private Sabi Sand Game Reserve. Lion Sands is the only private game reserve rooted in both Sabi Sand Game Reserve and Kruger National Park and is one of only 7 private concessions. There are 8 one-bedroom Villas and 1 two-bedroom villa, each with a private plunge pool. The two-bedroom Villa has a spa, gym, personal chef, field guide and open safari vehicle for private game drives. The main guest area has a lounge, boma, dining area, gallery, and wooden viewing deck.

Day 5 – 7: Lion Sands, Sabi Sands, Kruger Safari experience!

Prepare for an early morning wake up call between 5:00 and 6:00 am (seasonal), and proceed to enjoy coffee and tea ahead of your early morning safari game drive. Game drives are never more than 6 people in the custom open 4×4 safari vehicle, to afford you a more intimate safari experience. The game drive duration is up to 3 hours and includes a hot beverage in a scenic spot in the bush. Chance encounters with the Big Five animals as well as other smaller animals. After the game drive, we return to the lodge for breakfast/brunch. After breakfast, feel free to embark on a guided bush walk or any other activities available at Lion Sands Ivory Lodge. Bush Walks are a great way to encounter smaller animals who are more approachable on foot than in a vehicle. The duration of the guided bush walk is approximately 2-hours, depending on your fitness levels. Following your morning activities, lunch will be enjoyed at the lodge. In the afternoon we enjoy Tea, after which we will depart on our afternoon game drive followed by dinner.

Day 8: Victoria Falls magic!

In the morning you may choose to embark on your last game drive in the Sabi/Kruger, or you may choose to spend a relaxing morning at the lodge. Thereafter you will enjoy breakfast before checking out and receiving a transfer to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport for your flight to Victoria Falls Airport. Upon your arrival at Victoria Falls Airport, one of our representatives will be waiting to welcome you and transfer you to the Stanley & Livingstone Boutique Hotel. Here you will stay for 2-nights and explore the Victoria Falls. Victoria Falls is one of the best holiday destinations in Africa and the best time to visit is from February to May when the Victoria Falls flow is in full swing after the Summer rain.

2-Nights at Stanley & Livingstone Boutique Hotel, Victoria Falls

Stanley & Livingstone Boutique Hotel is located only 15 minutes from the Victoria Falls and surrounded by the serenity of the Victoria Falls Private Game Reserve. There are 16 luxury suites, each with a private terrace, ensuite shower and bath, air conditioning, minibar, satellite television and telephone. There is a swimming pool, wifi throughout the hotel, lounge and bar, viewing deck and dining terrace overlooking a wildlife watering hole and the gardens.

Day 9: Victoria Falls activities

The following activities are available at an additional cost (Please inquire rates upon confirmation of booking and should you wish to book one of the below, please advise so that we can assist with a booking in advance.):

• Flight of Angels (all ages): an amazing 13-minute helicopter flip over the Victoria Falls, along the Zambezi River, and over Zambezi National Park where guests can spot wildlife on the plains below
• Zambezi Spectacular (all ages): encompassing the Flight of Angels, this 25-minute helicopter flight then continues downstream for a thrilling flip over the Batoka Gorge
• Victoria Falls Canopy Tour (6 years and older): rope bridges and cable slides take guests through the forest canopy and whizzing out over the Zambezi rapids, where the falls’ spray is just visible beyond Victoria Falls Bridge
• Flying Fox (4 years and older): taking a running jump into the air, guests soar over the 200m/655ft-wide Batoka Gorge with the mighty Zambezi River gushing 120m/390ft below – and earn serious bragging rights!

Day 10: Farewell!

As your journey in Africa comes to an end, you will receive a transfer to either Victoria Falls Airport or Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport for your onward journey. We bid you a fond farewell until we meet again next time.
