Arrive to Victoria Falls Airport where you are met and transfer to Victoria Falls town and your hotel for the night. This afternoon is free to explore the falls on your own. Experience the thundering sounds of the water pouring over the precipice. Walk along the pathways and get up close as you marvel at the spectacle. If you have time, enjoy some curio shopping in town before retiring for the evening.

Today fly on to the shores of Lake Kariba and Matusadona National Park in the northern part of Zimbabwe. The mammalas here have had to adapt to a semi-aquatic lifestyle after the flooding of the Zambezi Valley as a result of a dam construction. Wildlife that frequent the area include elephant, leopard, lion, hyena, hippo, and even the rarely-seen endangered black rhino. Birdlife here is also prolific, with over 350 species being identified within the park. Semi-submerged trees have become the habitat and refuge for a great number of waterfowl species as well. Fly to Fothergill Island and take a short boat transfer to Changa Safari Camp today. Settle in and perhaps set out on your first excursion this afternoon.

Enjoy your time at Changa with activities everyday that allow you to spot wildlife during the peak of their activity. Set out in the mornings and late afternoon for game drives by vehicle into Matusadona National Park. Or opt to take a safari cruise out on Lake Kariba and spot wildlife and birdlife along the shoreline. For fisherman you may instead opt to try your hand at fishing for tigerfish or tilapia with your experienced guide. This day is yours to plan as you like.

Travel today to the heart of the Zambezi Valley along the western boundary of Mana Pools National Park. Fly on to your next camp near Mana Pools Park. Stay at Ruckomechi Camp, overlooking the river to the Zambezi Escarpment.

The excellent location and views here allow guests the choice between water-based and land-based activities during the stay. Choose two activities each day. Set out with your guide for game drives into the park, or go on an early morning walking safari. Take a pontoon boat out on the river and spot wildlife or try your hand at fishing. Set out on the water in canoes and paddle around spotting wildlife along the shores of the river. The days are yours to plan based on your interests.
