Our comfortable bungalow has a beautiful view of the dunes. In the afternoon, we can take a short drive into the valley of the dry Tsauchab River toward Sossusvlei, or maybe visit the Sesriem Canyon, located shortly after the entrance gate. With a height of about 300m, it is the highest dune in the world – and a great challenge! On this hike, we should definitely take drinking water with us.

Thereafter, we travel via Solitaire to our lodge overlooking the desert plains. Rostock Ritz Desert Lodge is nestled comfortably against the slope of a mountain, comprising a row of detached guest rondavels, the main building, and a lapa with a swimming pool.
