Day 1 – 3: Moremi, Botswana

You will be met at the Maun Airport where you will board a light aircraft and fly to Khwai. Our safari guide will collect you and take you on your first game drive to the lodge. Moremi Game Reserve offers a wonderful game viewing experience and is known as the jewel of Botswana. Here you can look out for lions, leopards and hippos in the vast wilderness of open grasslands.

Our lodge overlooks a large waterhole that you can view from a thatched deck. Animals wander down here in the afternoon to quench their thirst. You can also get your binoculars out and do some bird watching from the comfort of the lodge. These three days will be spent enjoying the tranquillity of nature on open 4WD game drives.

Accommodation: Elephant Pools Lodge – exclusive private tented bush lodge, bordering Moremi Game Reserve. Twin share permanent tented lodge with en-suite facilities.

Day 4 – 5: Savuti, Botswana

The tour group will head north today to the Savuti region of Chobe National Park. Big game reside in this area and you can see leopards, elephants and giraffes during game drives. We will cross open plains scattered with Acacia trees and then travel along the Savuti channel where we hope to see lions and hyenas. We stay in serviced tented camps with twin camp beds, bucket showers and chemical toilets. Enjoy a meal in the wild tonight.

Accommodation: Mini Meru Serviced Camping – twin camp beds with linen and en suite chemical toilet and bucket shower with hot water off the fire. Towel will be provided.
Meals: Breakfast x2, Lunch x2, Dinner x2

Day 6 – 7: Chobe National Park, Botswana

Today we are headed for the world-renowned Chobe National Park and the small town of Kasane. The park offers wildlife encounters you will not forget with sightings of zebra, impala, baboon, blue wildebeest, kudu, giraffe and more that you can capture on film.

We will return to the park the next day for an early morning game drive before the heat of the day. A relaxing boat cruise along the river allows us to see hippos, elephant and a wide variety of birdlife and hopefully the flight of the fish eagle. As the sun sets you can quietly reflect on your adventure with your fellow travellers.

Accommodation: Chobe Safari Lodge – Twin en-suite room, en suite facilities. Swimming pool, restaurant bar. WiFi available.
Meals: Breakfast x2. Lunch and Dinner at own expense
Includes: Entrance Fees, Game drive & Chobe River Boat Cruise
Distance/time: 220 kms ± 4½ hours, excludes game drives & stops for wildlife viewing (Savuti – Chobe)

Day 8: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

An exciting day lies ahead as we travel to Victoria Falls where the mighty Zambezi river roars and plummets over the cliff face into the depths below. We will take a walk with a local guide around Victoria Falls as well as the lush rainforest that is fed by the spray of the water.

Overnight: Phezulu Guest Lodge, twin rooms with en-suite facilities. Swimming pool, restaurant, bar and telephone.
Meals: Breakfast. Lunch and Dinner at own expense.
Includes: Entrance fees to Victoria Falls
Distance/time: 100kms – 1.5 hours, excluding border formalities
Optional Activities: Sunset cruises, scenic flights & many more

Day 9: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

You will also have the opportunity to go on scenic flights as well as other fun adventure activities before the tour comes to an end (own expense).

Due to circumstances beyond our control while on tour (such as border crossings, traffic, breakdowns and delays, etc), the end time on the last day cannot be guaranteed. Therefore we strongly recommend you stay the night and fly out the next day. Please consult with your booking consultant.
